Profile: Chris Rowell is Head of Change Delivery and Modification Secretary of the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC). This role combines the assessment of potential changes (including Modification Proposals) and the implementation of agreed changes to the BSC, BSC Subsidiary Documents and supporting systems and processes. Chris is an engineer by training. He has broad experience within the electricity industry, having entered as a Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB) Scholar. His roles have included working on nuclear safety, coal fired power plant, transmission outage planning and settlements. He joined ELEXON via the Electricity Pool's 1998 Programme.
