Executive Team

Elexon’s Executive Team are responsible for the company’s day-to-day management. They work with the Board, the BSC Panel and our colleagues to ensure the successful delivery and development of the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC).

Chief Executive Officer at Elexon

I joined the company as Chief Executive Officer on 4 April 2022.

Geraldine Buckland

Chief People Officer at Elexon

I joined the company in April 2020 as Chief People Officer and I am responsible for delivering Elexon’s People Strategy.

Matthew Johnson

Managing Director, EMR Settlement Limited

I am the Managing Director of EMR Settlement Limited (EMRS). I was appointed to the EMRS Board in July 2021.

Jessica McGoverne

Director of Corporate Affairs

I joined Elexon in April 2023 and as a member of the Executive team, lead the communications, policy and market intelligence strategy for Elexon.

Yasmin Mouse

Director of Finance and Commercial at Elexon

I am the Finance Director at Elexon. As Finance Director I oversee the work of the Finance and Commercial department, which supports the business in the areas of finance, internal audit and supply chain management.

Victoria Moxham

Director of Customer & Code Management at Elexon

I am Director of Customer & Code Management at Elexon. I oversee the work of the department which is responsible for Elexon’s customer focussed business activities and includes Metering, Change processes, Customer Operations, and Disputes and Compliance.

Peter Stanley

Chief Operating Officer at Elexon

I am the Executive Director responsible for Elexon’s digital operations business.

Helen Tipton

Director of Strategic Programmes

I joined Elexon in November 2022 and my role on the Executive Team is to receive, manage and deliver strategic programmes.
