The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires organisations like Elexon to produce a statement setting out the steps we have taken to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in our business or supply chains, and the progress we have made.
Action we've taken
Elexon fully supports the aims of the Act and recognises that slavery, human trafficking and other forms of labour exploitation are a significant global problem.
The Statement details the actions we have taken to prevent slavery, labour exploitation and human trafficking within our organisation and supply chains. This is primarily done via our:
- policies and procedures
- risk assessment and due diligence process
- training
We will be publishing annual statements with relevant and necessary updates.
