Reporting on DIP Change

DIP Change Register

The DIP Change Register contains an overview of active and closed DIP Change Requests (CRs).

DIP change meetings, including DIP Change and Advisory Board (DCAB) meetings and DIP CR Workgroup meetings, are listed in the second page of the report.

Public documents for each change or meeting can be accessed through the hyperlinks in the change timetable and meeting titles.

DIP Change Report

The DIP Change Report is updated monthly and is presented to the DCAB.

DIP Change Process

Between now and MHHS Programme M10, any changes to the design of the DIP itself should follow the MHHS Design Review Process. Any potential changes DIP Messages should also follow this process.

Any changes to the DIP Rules, that do not require a change to the DIP itself (a non-system change) should follow the DIP Change process as laid out in DSD004 of the DIP Rules. Such changes can be raised by submitting a DIP Change Request (CR) Proposal Form to the DIP Manager.

DIP Change and Advisory Board (DCAB)

The DIP Change and Advisory Board (DCAB) are a specialist user group whose purpose is to advise the DIP Manager in relation to the DIP and, in limited circumstances, make determinations. The DCAB assesses DIP Change Requests with a material impact to DIP Participants and votes on whether they should be approved or rejected.

Chapter 2 of the DIP Supplement and DSD001 ‘Governance’ set out the rules covering the constitution and governance of the DCAB, its objectives and powers.

You can read more about the role of the DCAB, membership composition, member roles and responsibilities, how often DCAB meetings take place and how decision making occurs. You can also find out about the DCAB elections organised by the DCAB Secretary.
