On 1 November, Helen Tipton joined Elexon’s Executive team as Director of Strategic Programmes to lead the delivery of our major programmes including Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement.

Her extensive experience working on major programmes including system implementations will be highly valuable as we continue to drive the Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement implementation programme forward.

About Helen Tipton
Helen has extensive experience in the energy sector, most recently at National Grid Gas Transmission & Metering and has held many executive roles in risk, assurance, safety and environment and sustainability.
Before working at National Grid Helen worked for npower where she was Head of Retail Compliance for six years. Her experience working on major programmes extends across a broad range of subjects including regulatory, merger and acquisitions, systems implementation and organisational redesign.
Helen is a trustee of the Fuel Bank Foundation and is a passionate advocate of diverse and inclusive workplaces.
